That's what "I AM" talking about

What a beautiful experience to be moved to an uncontrollable flow of emotions by a song.  Although sometimes a simple song with strong words leads me to tears, this song is magnificent.  In lyric, in note, it has immense power over all who listen.  It's refusal to be ignored, it's demand to be attended to and its overwhelming ability to capture us is an amazing quality whose origin was a man with a pen and paper.

Through my blurred vision and with a strange feeling of gravity's pull on my legs, I envisioned a multitude of all peoples whose sole purpose is glorifying a most worthy God.  And this multitude weren't singing out of duty, but their entire being was compelled to sing.

When the last trumpet sounded and the tympani's march ceased, we began to breath again.  And as we were ushered into the next song, the effect of that moment, that glimpse of perfection, of power, of hope, remained over us all.

Music really does transport me, too. I feel like God has made some music somehow unaffected by the fall..at least it sometimes seems umblemished, so much purer than any other expression
